The most successful Councils in the future will be those that fully embrace innovation, accelerate new ways of working and drive commercial income to protect frontline services.

Westco has successfully worked with leading Local Authorities to drive commercial opportunities generating in excess of £10m of annualised income. What makes this event different? We will share practical examples of how our approach has worked for other councils through insightful case studies and through round table discussion on key issues. Every Council has its own unique set of assets to generate additional income however the focus must be on innovation along with ‘profit and loss’ and not simply on traditional contracts and procurement. The Councils that embed this day-to-day focus through effective commercial leadership, capability and collaboration will be the most successful.
